  • Job Description

    Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice-President, Retail Sales will help increase BonLook’s sales and
    profitability for our retail stores as well as for our customer service department. He or she will be
    responsible for devising a strategic business plan aimed at maximizing growth and promoting BonLook’s
    objectives as part of the expansion of our network of stores throughout Canada. The incumbent will work
    together with the senior management team on creating and implementing sales plans as well as
    developing the customer service culture in our stores.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
     Supports the CEO and COO in the implementation of strategic orientations and expansion
    objectives;
     Makes recommendations to the senior management team members regarding growth
    issues;
     Manages BonLook’s retail sales division;
     Prepares monthly and annual budgets and projections in line with our corporate objectives;
     Together with the retail management team, creates a retail sales and customer service strategy
    focused on developing new markets and sales growth;
     Follows up on sales and payroll and provides detailed reports to senior management;
     Works closely with other departments in order to maximize the synergy between business units;

     Together with the retail management team, recruits, trains, coaches and motivates store
    managers and their teams;
     Provides constant feedback to the senior management team on opportunities for improvement
    and on issues that the company may face;
     Promotes a culture of learning and continuous improvement within his or her teams;
     Cultivates collaboration within a large geographic area by focusing on customer satisfaction and
    improving customer experience;
     Participates in the implementation of a training program for all employees and opticians;
     Participates in the implementation of best management practices (performance management,
    recruitment, remuneration, workforce planning, succession planning, etc.);
     Plans new store openings in unexplored markets;
     Builds strategic business relationships and, on occasion, represents BonLook at various business
    events.

     

     

    REQUIREMENTS
     Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any other related field;
     At least 10 years of experience in a leadership role in the retail sector;
     Perfectly bilingual in English and in French, written and spoken;
     In-depth knowledge of retail and fashion;
     Ability to manage teams remotely;
     Ability to build a sales and customer service culture;
     Excellent written and spoken communication skills;
     Strong ability to analyze reports;
     Adaptability in an ever-changing, high-growth environment;
     Ability to work under pressure and strong tolerance for ambiguity and complexity;
     Analytical mindset;
     Previous experience in fashion or in the optical industry will be considered an asset.
